Join us as a Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant. You’ll be providing first class safety, health and environment advice and training to a diverse range of business clients and industry sectors. Enjoy the freedom to manage your own diary and build relationships with clients, while still being part of a supportive team. Hone your consultancy expertise and gain valuable experience working with a wide variety of clients across all sectors. While this is a remote first role, you’ll be expected to travel around Kent, which may include overnight stays where required. We’re offering between £42,075.00 - £49,500.00, with a car allowance of £6000, plus pension funding.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver excellent service to a variety of clients, conducting regular client visits and developing and using an effective strategy.
- Build an understanding of needs of your clients to provide the right advice, consultancy and training services.
- Manage an ongoing case load of work.
- Identify and deliver additional consultancy and training services for customers.
- Appropriately identify customer need to generate additional income.
- Ensure that any information, advice and guidance is suitable, appropriate, technically correct, relevant and communicated in a clear way.
The Skills You’ll Need
- A health and safety or environmental qualification, CMIOSH or equivalent, with extensive post qualification experience.
- High standards of attention to detail and the ability to deliver excellent service.
- Experience of identifying customer needs.
- Diverse sector, industry and generalist knowledge.
- Excellent time management skills with the flexibility to serve customers in a way that suits their needs.
- The ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements.
- The communication skills to liaise with regulatory bodies or legal counsel.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel, which may include overnight stays.
