Join us as a Director in Institutional Banking. We’re looking for someone to lead a team and develop relationships with key stakeholders to support business growth. As you manage and build relationships with your clients, we’ll look to you to identify any banking needs they may have. This is an opportunity to work towards an externally recognised qualification, allowing you to be successful in your role and advance your career. What you’ll do:
- Proactively enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy by providing them with products and services that best serve their needs.
- Prepare well researched and comprehensive briefs and pitch books for customers and prospect meetings.
- Use a range of contact and strategy planning tools to identify and meet customer needs, while delivering high quality customer interactions and experiences.
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues to build trust and long-term sustainable value.
- Act as a visible, positive presence in other parts of the business and the external market.
- Support senior management to assess and analyse the financial information of our customers.
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers in Guernsey, providing direction, support and coaching.
The skills you’ll need:
- Highly developed interpersonal, coaching, negotiation, networking and leadership skills, preferably gained in a sales environment.
- Experience of working with the major strategic models used by corporate entities to evaluate their operating environment and plan their future development.
- Good awareness of credit processes, appetite and policies.
- Proven risk assessment, monitoring and control skills in a broad range of customer situations.
- An appreciation of the macroeconomic and financial outlook with a good understanding of the trust and corporate service provider sector.
- A proven track record of managing and developing teams, preferably in a sales environment.
