As a graduate trainee in Digital Transformation, we’ll give you the best possible start to your career by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.
Over the course of this two‑year programme, you can expect to:
- Influence and drive transformation across NatWest Group, by helping us to develop innovative, leading‑edge solutions for our 19 million customers
- Be involved in a wide range of initiatives and projects, from analysing data and building the case for change, to assessing the impact, proposing recommendations, and supporting change implementation
- Work on our customer journeys and user experiences, developing and understanding the cutting‑edge technologies that will have a positive impact on our customers and our future as a bank
- Embed new business operating models that maintain our services and products
How you’ll benefit
We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £36,000 a year. If you join a team based in London, you’ll be awarded an additional allowance of £3,450 a year pro rata.
And on top of your salary, you’ll also have access to our flexible benefits package.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for our Digital Transformation graduate programme, you’ll need:
- To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
- A passion for innovation and digitalisation
- Good communication skills
- A strong customer focus
- To be technically‑minded
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- To be curious, and willing to openly challenge the status quo
