Job Description

Join us as a Financial Crime Technical Learning Manager

  • Financial Crime (FinCrime) Learning & Capability (L&C) are a dedicated specialist learning team, our purpose is that we cultivate skills empowering colleagues to combat financial crime
  • In this critical role, you’ll be designing and delivering strategic core learning initiatives in support of our current and future goals
  • You’ll be working across internal organisational boundaries while analysing external trends innovation and technology to define, source, curate and maintain relevant learning solutions
  • This is a great opportunity to hone your knowledge of learning and development and financial crime and join us in a collaborative and creative environment
  • You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from an office or hub minimum 2 days per week

What you\’ll do

As a Financial Crime Technical Curriculum Manager, you’ll be managing learning capability initiatives, including scoping, design and delivery, through to review and evaluation. We’ll look to you to partner with teams and SMES across the wider learning and development community and FinCrime hub work with a wide range of stakeholders to enhance our financial crime curriculum gather information, provide updates and seek decisions.

With a future focused way of working, you’ll always be looking at what innovations you can bring to our learning environment and how new technologies and ideas can drive the function forward.

In addition, you’ll:

  • Shape creative learning products and services that will increase the capability of our people
  • Complete internal and external research to identify potential technology solutions that support the delivery of our learning strategy.
  • Analyse internal and external data and trends in learning to make recommendations on future strategy and associated projects
  • Make sure that all learning solutions are learner focused and simple, while supporting the overall strategy and driving value for the bank

The skills you\’ll need

Key to your success in this role will be your knowledge of applying learning and development theories, models and practices alongside strong financial crime expertise. Additionally, we’ll expect you to have some experience of managing teams and of influencing diverse professional teams.

We’ll also look to you to bring:

  • Experience of managing learning and development initiatives or similar across multiple areas and stakeholders with excellent data management and organisational skills.
  • An understanding of learning management systems
  • The ability to present complex information simply and professionally
  • Excellent data management and organisational skills
