Join us as a Product Owner. We’re looking for someone to support senior management in driving the development of our digital channels’ priorities and investment needs. You’ll be putting the customer at the heart of our digital channel plans and constantly improving their digital journey. This is an opportunity to oversee the service delivery of our digital channel set, making sure all aspects of our digital customer journey deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What you'll do:
- Own the digital journey, driving aspects like performance management, service proposition and customer experience.
- Set the vision for a whole host of digital features, ensuring we create a world‑class digital experience for our customers.
- Take ownership of the digital roadmap and the definition, management and prioritisation of the digital backlog.
- Work with stakeholders and deliver on KPI’s to inform and monitor the digital customer experience.
- Ensure continuous improvements in financial spend are within agreed budgets.
- Identify, manage and escalate conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes.
The skills you'll need:
- Strong technical grounding in AWS and Kubernetes, with the ability to translate cloud architecture and platform capabilities into clear product backlogs, roadmaps and delivery outcomes.
- Hands‑on experience working alongside engineering teams; ideally have a cloud engineering or DevOps background.
- Hold or be working towards qualifications such as AWS Associate Architect, AWS Associate Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud‑native platforms, particularly AWS services such as compute, networking, IAM, containers, observability and Kubernetes concepts including clusters, namespaces, deployments, services and ingress.
- Experience working with engineering-led teams using Agile or Scrum delivery models.
- Ability to define and prioritise product backlogs informed by platform capabilities and non‑functional requirements like security, resilience, scalability and cost.
- Product knowledge that balances technical excellence with customer outcomes.
- Familiarity with modern product management approaches, such as agile and iterative delivery, applied in a technical or platform context.
