Join us as a Microsoft Defender Security Manager. Take on a new challenge and use your specialist knowledge to support the wider bank in building and operating secure services that protect both colleagues and customers.
You’ll act as a subject matter expert in a security related field, making sure that the security implications of the backlog are understood in the right way, building security early into design. You’ll be joining an exciting and fast-paced area of the bank, where you can expect great exposure both for you and your work.
What you'll do:
- Work at a domain level to understand and ensure robust security is continuously considered and incorporated at every stage, programme increment and feature team delivery throughout the development lifecycle and through to support.
- Collaborate with feature teams and participate in story refinement, sprint planning and retrospective sessions, establishing a culture of innovation and strategic thinking.
- Be responsible for the proactive research and understanding of the Microsoft Defender suite roadmap and capabilities.
- Assess the Microsoft capabilities against the industry relevant threats and existing control environment to determine the relevant features for adoption into the Group.
- Become the Subject Matter Expert of all Defender products and support the building of a team that provides end to end management and support.
- Determine the existing features and new capabilities that are required to enhance the Group's Security model and build a backlog of changes and enhancements.
- Work with various stakeholders and subject matter experts in Technology and Security to assess and prioritise the required changes.
- Support security events and incidents providing subject matter expertise on the Defender suite.
The skills you'll need:
- Experience and knowledge of technology security controls within the security technology specialism along with an understanding of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team.
- A strong technical acumen backed by hands-on experience of implementing Microsoft Defender Security suite.
- The ability to write technical issues in business terms.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory environment.
