What you'll do
As a Digital Technology - IT Support Apprentice, you’ll be supporting the provision of the day-to-day technology-based services and assisting in validating the deployment of new applications and architecture across the domain, specifically around the Red Hat Linux, Windows, and Citrix Platforms. Day to day you’ll be:
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders across the domain, including production manager, domain lead, product owner and senior engineers to ensure the robustness and resilience of the platform.
- Supporting the delivery of infrastructure management, infrastructure support and the building of environments for systems.
- Managing updates to environments ensuring all deployments to production environments meet the appropriate quality standards.
- Working with senior engineers to analyse and to continuously improve the platforms through learning and applying new automation and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Ensuring applications and infrastructure are fully compliant to mandated standards, by adhering to processes and security compliance, working closely with Feature teams, understanding the upcoming changes and collaborating to prevent potential issues occurring.

Our apprenticeships are designed for people new to the subject. If you already have substantial experience or qualifications in this area, you may be overqualified. Please check our FAQs before applying. You’ll also need to have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme. Unfortunately, this role does not meet Skilled Worker Visa requirements.
