Join us as an HR Business Consultant. In this crucial role, you’ll help deliver effective people solutions by using your HR expertise to solve real business problems. You’ll also work with HRBPs and business leaders to deliver practical people initiatives and insights that support our overall people plan. This is your chance to make an impact by partnering with HRBPs and cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic support, targeted analysis, expertise, and data insights on complex workforce needs. This is a full‑time, hybrid position based in London, Edinburgh, or Manchester coming into the office at least 2 days per week.
What you'll do:
- Support organisation design (OD), strategic workforce planning (SWP), and key people projects, taking ownership of your work and delivering high‑quality outputs.
- Support OD and change workstreams by contributing to problem‑solving and execution, using data, insight, and stakeholder input to understand issues and identify practical solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, using your knowledge of the business to guide and challenge project direction when needed.
- Shape and lead the delivery of complex, business‑critical people projects where required, ensuring outcomes are well‑defined, measurable, and connected to strategic people priorities.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and ways of working across teams.
- Provide clear, evidence‑based insights that support business priorities.
- Share expertise and insight with peers, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of tools, approaches, and delivery practice.
- Ensure work is well‑planned, tracked, and reviewed consistently.
- Support HRBPs and People Directors in delivering SWP by translating business needs into scalable, insight‑led workforce solutions.
