Join us as a Relationship Management Lead in Business Banking. You’ll be leading a team of relationship managers, across the south-west, providing differentiated support to customers tailored to their business and financial needs. You’ll be designing and delivering a consistent operating model and anticipating market needs, developing our response and making sure that process effectiveness and training are in place. What you'll do
- Deliver a high quality customer experience and customer outcomes by role modelling collaboration, while helping to drive the business to build strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Provide effective leadership to your team to deliver challenging financial targets and service standards, developing and coaching individuals to maximise their capabilities and help them succeed in their roles.
- Create a platform for your team to become trusted advisers to our customers, delivering products and services to meet their needs through an omni-channel approach.
- Lead the delivery of the Business Banking strategy in the local market, building relationships with enterprise and business support organisations.
- Oversee the provision of effective data capture, analytics, insight and reporting to support the delivery of business plans and strategy.
- Design and deliver an effective operating rhythm within the business, engaging with business partners to establish and embed individual roles and responsibilities.
- Help create a continuous improvement culture and drive initiatives to improve process, performance and efficiency.
- Act as a business ambassador and build market presence through an omni-channel approach, driving awareness of the breadth of the Business Banking proposition.
The skills you'll need
- Entrepreneurial ability to build and grow a business, and a passion for coaching and developing people to succeed and achieve their targets.
- Strong commercial acumen and detailed knowledge and understanding of the SME business market, including financial, economic and market awareness.
- The ability to motivate others to ensure a positive culture of supporting an enterprise at all levels.
- Experience of credit stewardship, Know Your Customer, Know Your Business, and regulatory and control processes.
- The ability to coach others on complex profit and loss data, balance sheet information, and management accounts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience of the Lending Standards Board principles.
