Join us as a Cutover Manager. We’re looking for a Cutover Manager to help us deliver outstanding service to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in an international environment. You’ll work with various stakeholders and share the technical expertise within an agile, collaborative organisation. You’ll be joining our bank as it’s transforming its architecture, pushing forward with innovative solutions in various technologies. This role will be available for a period of 6 months.

What you’ll do:

  • Define, develop and implement cutover plans for various release deployments.
  • Lead the cutover activities with all involved parties to ensure a well-planned and smooth production deployment.
  • Focus on the entire Wealth Chief Digital Information Office IT platform, including Online Banking, APIs, Front Data Store, Output Management, Data Warehouse, Middleware and general infrastructure changes in conjunction with the core banking system Avaloq.
  • Collaborate closely with technical Release Managers, Application Management, Project Managers, IT Operations, and 3rd parties.

You’ll also be:

  • Running specific cutover walkthrough preparation meetings.
  • Co-ordinating dress rehearsals before Go-Live deployments.
  • Preparing and distributing milestone communications throughout the release deployments to various stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and archiving all required documentation and approvals for audit purposes.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Experience in identifying dependencies of all systems and activities which are planned to be part of a release deployment.
  • Previous experience of conducting and facilitating workshops with release managers, business representatives, technical support staff and 3rd parties.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ready to work in a challenging business environment.
  • Solution and service-oriented experience.
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and leadership level colleagues.
  • Willingness to work on weekends during productive system deployments.
