Join us as a Credit Analyst, Securitisation Trading Vice President. We’ll look to you to support the underwriting and management of the economic risk associated with Corporate Securitisations transactions undertaken by Private Financing. Joining a fast-paced, dynamic, Trading & Portfolio Management team, you’ll use your analytical skills in leveraged corporate credit to support the needs of this business. It’s an opportunity to contribute to our Private Credit financing business in Europe and the US, underpinning our transaction risk analysis.
What you'll do:
- You’ll be producing high-quality credit analysis by reviewing lending thesis, financial metrics, downside scenarios, and historical performance of leveraged corporates in a high pressured environment.
- You’ll be preparing risk write-ups that effectively support asset eligibility, diligence outcome and investment recommendation.
- You’ll be working closely with product partners in Structuring, Sales and Portfolio Monitoring to support the origination, underwriting, execution and management of Corporate Securitisation / CLO transactions.
- You’ll be supporting the transaction pricing process, and comparing this with transaction risk to form a view on the acceptability of transaction risk or reward.
- You’ll be liaising with various internal functions to facilitate transaction approvals and portfolio management of existing risk exposures.
- You’ll be completing credit portfolio benchmarking.
The skills you'll need:
- Knowledge of general lending principles and experience in corporate credit underwriting / risk approval.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, and advanced knowledge of Excel including modelling; Python skills would be beneficial.
- Ability to deal with large datasets.
- Familiarity with leveraged corporates, and lending.
- Quantitative, analytical and modelling skills.
