Join us as a Complex Credit Policy Product Owner
- We’re looking for someone to support management and drive the complex credit policy development priorities and investment needs
- You’ll be putting the customer at the heart of our strategic plans and improving their lending journey
- This is an opportunity to be in charge of the service delivery of our complex credit portfolio, making sure all aspects of our digital customer journey deliver an exceptional customer experience
- You\’ll work from home some of the time, but you\’ll also spend at least six days a month working in the office
- We\’re offering this role on a temporary basis until 23rd December 2026
What you\’ll do
As a Complex Credit Policy Product Owner, you’ll be leading the development and continuous improvement of our complex credit policy, working with first and second line to deliver the best outcomes for our customers. We’ll look to you to take ownership of the complex credit policy vision and roadmap.
You’ll also be:
- Using information relating to customers, business stakeholders, market conditions and business risks to prioritise and deliver improvements to the policy
- Engaging customers in the development of our policy, understanding what we can improve and monitoring using data to identify areas for improvement
- Leveraging the Scrum team to execute the work stack
- Making sure that continuous improvements in financial spend is within agreed budgets
The skills you\’ll need
To join us in this role, you’ll need to have previous experience of working on credit policy. Along with a passion for private banking client experience, you’ll have the ability to innovate, partner and collaborate with customers and colleagues to implement the best experience for our customers.
You’ll also be expected to have:
- Extensive experience in credit risk assessment and management within private banking or wealth management sectors
- A proven track record of reviewing and analysing credit policies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and market best practices
- A deep understanding of bespoke credit products tailored to high-net-worth individuals and their unique financial situations
- The ability to identify gaps and opportunities in existing credit frameworks to better serve specialised client needs
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, collaborating with relationship managers, risk teams, and legal departments to implement policy changes
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate policy adjustments and their implications to internal teams and clients
