Join us as a Mortgage Fulfilment Assistant. In this role, you’ll be supporting mortgage specialists with regulated mortgage situations by providing research, data analysis, solutions and reports along with preparing submissions to credit. You’ll maintain files and databases in accordance with the bank's guidelines, undertaking support tasks and working with colleagues in other parts of the bank. This is a great chance to develop your career in a vibrant, fast-paced environment that supports flexible working. You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend at least two days a month working from the London office, subject to business requirements.
What you'll do
- Consistently deliver high standards in case ownership through proactive management of the non-advice element of the mortgage process and accurate records and file management.
- Support relevant teams with service mortgage requirements for the client and help in the preparation of credit applications.
- Prepare and maintain client mortgage files, ensuring all compliance paperwork and documentation are available to progress mortgage affordability analysis.
- Analyse and interpret client needs through documentation, including technical materials, provided by the mortgage specialist.
- Responsible for obtaining all application documentation needed to support the implementation of any recommended mortgage advice.
- Prepare client communications including all regulated documents and other documentation as requested by relevant teams.
- Recommend and implement improvements to processes and systems to enhance client satisfaction and efficiency.
- Provide appropriate research material to support client outcomes.
The skills you'll need
- A good understanding of financial services and mortgage related products, including technical knowledge within credit and banking products.
- A willingness to complete CEMAP.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage policies, private banking, credit, and associated operational risks.
- Able to demonstrate providing a high level of service to UHNW clients.
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and collaborate at all levels across the bank and influence senior or executive management.
- Experience of building and maintaining external and internal stakeholder relationships.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience of working with Avaloq.
