Join us as a Sustainable Finance Advisory Associate. We’ll look to you to assist in the origination, structure, and execution of sustainable finance advisory solutions for Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) clients, while enhancing client relationships through proactive coverage and strategic content-led solutions.
You’ll support clients by providing proactive coverage and assisting in the delivery of innovative sustainable finance advisory solutions that align with their strategic objectives covering ratings, regulations, and data. As well as identifying new opportunities within existing client relationships and contributing to the development of new products to enhance sustainable revenue streams, you’ll participate in cross-selling initiatives, leveraging our solutions to support client relationships and drive value.
This role will see you managing and supporting a portfolio of CIB client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and profitability through knowledge of bank capabilities. You’ll assist in optimising sustainable finance advisory wallet share and product distribution related to origination and financing mandates, and you’ll promote our credentials to foster successful business partnerships.
You’ll also:
- Support customer-facing teams as a product expert by providing product knowledge, marketing materials, and ideas for customer origination, including for ratings, regulations and data.
- Help develop customised and flexible sustainable finance advisory solutions that align with clients’ sustainability journeys and our sustainability goals.
- Help to ensure that transaction structures are market-leading, sound, and appropriately negotiated and documented.
- Support the management of a portfolio of CIB client relationships by providing proactive client advice and assisting in the delivery of strategic content-led solutions, while also analysing and identifying new opportunities for cross-selling where appropriate.
The skills you’ll need:
We’re looking for someone with proven organisation skills and an interest in climate and sustainability, including for ratings, regulations, and data. You’ll be proactive and diligent with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines. You’ll also need:
- Experience interacting with customers, coupled with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- To be comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and contributing as a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
- Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.
