Join us as a Brand Strategy Manager. This is a creative and strategic role in which you’ll help to build clear brand strategies and architectures, and successfully influence campaign designs, to effectively position our brand promise with customers.
You’ll identify and deliver strategic brand recommendations and executional support to help land our brand promise of helping customers take action, while reflecting our organisation-wide strategy and responding to market trends. The work you do will essentially represent who we are and what we have to offer our customers, and we’ll look to you to act as a brand guardian to uphold the principles of our brand design and governance.
What you’ll do:
- As a Brand Strategy Manager, you’ll develop objectives and plans for our core brands, as well as overseeing plan delivery and working on broader portfolio projects that cross franchise boundaries.
- You’ll monitor and provide reporting of progress against key portfolio strategies and proactively identify any actions that need to be taken as a result.
- You’ll also support the development of strategic recommendations to drive the embedding of our brand promise across Marketing and the wider business.
- Work with business stakeholders to help map customer touchpoints to ensure a consistent and exceptional brand experience.
- Develop resources, such as frameworks, to support Marketing and business colleagues to embed in our customer propositions.
- Identify future trends and monitor competitor brands to help ensure we can stand out and create perceived difference in the market.
- Provide brand consultancy across strategic and tactical brand challenges, collaborating with internal communications and marketing colleagues and wider business stakeholders.
The skills you’ll need:
- We’re ideally looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in a business or marketing related discipline or significant relevant industry experience.
- You’ll have a proven track record and background in developing and delivering strategic thinking to achieve campaign, brand or commercial objectives, and an understanding of critical elements of marketing planning and brand management.
- We’re also looking for an understanding of our customers and current marketing trends.
- Evidence of consistently challenging existing ideas and proactively developing new proposals to meet opportunities or challenges.
- Experience of managing and influencing stakeholders across a matrix structure.
- Commercial acumen, an enquiring mindset, and the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional colleagues.
