Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site audits and prospect surveys, ensuring completion to a high standard within the required timescales.
  • A valid driving license is required due to travel within the role.
  • Work in partnership with invoice finance coverage teams to ensure robust risk management and sustainable growth.
  • Support career progression and development.
  • Travel around 2 to 3 days a week in the Manchester, Chester, Liverpool and the North West wider area, which may include overnight stays where required.

What You’ll Do

  • Review client information to assess suitability for the provision or continuation of facilities.
  • Work closely with client relations and business development colleagues to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Compose clear closing reports that identify risks along with strategies to mitigate them.
  • Challenge current practices to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with training and development to improve knowledge across the business.
  • Manage your own diary to ensure audits and surveys are prioritised and completed in a timely manner.

The Skills You’ll Need

  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience, along with an understanding of financial software.
  • Knowledge of the invoice finance industry, including the legalities of invoice discounting and factoring agreements.
  • The ability to review and understand statistical and financial data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
