On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for a PMO Officer for a 12 month contract based in London, Manchester or Edinburgh. Remote first - with 2 days per month required on-site.

Purpose of the role

This PMO Officer role supports the delivery of a complex change portfolio within RBSI, covering areas such as regulatory change, financial crime, and customer onboarding. Working as part of a central PMO team, the role focuses on ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and effective financial and resource oversight across multiple programmes. You will play a key role in enabling senior stakeholders to make informed decisions by maintaining structure, control, and consistency across delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Produce high-quality governance packs and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Support programme-level reporting across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain and manage RAID logs, ensuring risks and issues are tracked, owned, and escalated where required.
  • Support financial tracking including budgets, forecasts, and variances.
  • Assist with resource planning and onboarding activity across programmes.
  • Coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support governance forums and ensure adherence to established frameworks.
  • Work closely with programme leads and delivery teams to maintain control and visibility across change activity.

The Skills you’ll need

  • Proven experience working in a PMO, Project Support, or Programme Support role.
  • Strong understanding of governance, reporting, and risk management processes.
  • Experience supporting large or multi-workstream programmes.
  • Ability to interpret data and produce clear, meaningful insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when producing reporting for leadership audiences.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Planview, Oracle, or similar is beneficial but not essential.
