On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for an experienced Content Analyst, contracted until December 2026. Remote first, based in London, Manchester or Edinburgh.
Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced Content Analyst to support a large-scale intranet content migration and transformation programme. You will work closely with business content owners to review, improve and migrate content from a legacy intranet into SharePoint Online and ServiceNow, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, well structured and easy for colleagues to find and use.
This is a hands-on content role where you'll take existing information from a range of formats and transform it into clear, user-friendly digital content, while applying appropriate metadata, governance and information architecture principles. You'll also help optimise content for SharePoint Search and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
What you'll do
- Review, audit and classify existing intranet content, identifying what should be migrated, updated, consolidated or removed.
- Migrate and transform content into modern SharePoint Online and ServiceNow pages using approved templates.
- Convert content from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and other formats into structured, accessible and user-friendly digital pages.
- Apply metadata, taxonomy, content types and governance standards to improve content organisation and findability.
- Work closely with business content owners and stakeholders to review content, obtain approvals and ensure information remains accurate.
- Restructure and improve existing content so it is clear, easily digestible and appropriate for the new platforms.
- Support content migration across agreed delivery waves, keeping progress and tracking information up to date.
- Help optimise content for SharePoint Search and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment, supporting sprint-based migration activity.
The Skills you'll need
- Strong experience in content analysis, content migration, auditing, restructuring and digital content management.
- Good hands-on knowledge of SharePoint Online, including modern pages and out-of-the-box functionality.
- Experience or a good working understanding of ServiceNow, ideally involving content migration and/or the creation and management of ServiceNow content pages.
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, information architecture and content governance principles.
- Experience transforming legacy documents and content into structured, accessible digital pages.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work directly with content owners to review information and secure approvals.
- Understanding of content accessibility, usability and search/findability principles.
- Awareness of SharePoint Search and Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities.
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and Jira.
- Self-driven and highly organised, with the ability to manage your own workload and deliver against migration deadlines.
- Previous experience working on large-scale intranet or content migration programmes would be highly desirable.
