You'll join NatWest Boxed’s rapidly expanding Commercial Partnerships team. This is an opportunity to achieve excellent exposure in a highly visible role and to make a real impact with your work.

As a Client Partnerships Manager, you will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in leading complex deal negotiations, architecting effective commercial processes and delivering robust contract frameworks that underpin the NW Boxed proposition. This is a hands‑on position designed for an experienced commercial professional who thrives in agile, fintech environments and possesses a deep understanding of how to balance regulatory compliance with commercial value creation.

You’ll Also:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex client contracts within the Point of Sale (PoS) and Embedded Finance sectors, ensuring terms are commercially competitive and operationally viable.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, modular contract frameworks that support easy partner onboarding while safeguarding NatWest Boxed’s risk appetite.
  • Collaborate and influence across a diverse set of internal / external stakeholders. Operate as the “commercial glue” between teams to ensure all partnership activities align with evolving regulatory, policy and operational changes.
  • Support on Client RFP completion.
  • Develop, optimise and implement commercial processes, systems & tools to enhance agility and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to proactively ensure contract performance and obligations post‑signature are being met. Support identifying value leakage, resolve contract disputes and optimise contract terms in‑life and during contract renewal cycles to drive long‑term partnership outcomes.

The skills you’ll need:

  • Proven commercial and contract experience ideally in regulated and/or fintech sectors.
  • Strong Commercial acumen, understand complex commercial structures.
  • Commercial & Regulatory Expertise: strong understanding of contract law and regulatory impact with experience in preparing, amending and finalising contracts in line with legal, regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to identify opportunities and drive decision‑making.
  • Stakeholder and Client management: Proven ability to manage and influence C‑suite stakeholders across internal functions and external partners and clients to drive alignment and resolve complex challenges.
  • Agile & Cross‑Functional Working: Comfortable in agile, fast‑paced environments with cross‑functional collaboration and managing multiple priorities and projects.
