What you'll do:
- We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our agile Platform Product team with a focus on developing our Core Banking propositions, creating products and services that our clients and customers love.
- Work closely with your Product Manager, Product Owners and other mission teams in a cross-collaborative manner to analyse requirements for all aspects of core banking including Ledger, Interest Engine and Product Account LifeCycle.
- Drive requirements gathering and project engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with our tech colleagues to understand any technical constraints or impacts, as well as determining estimates for various features.
- Assist Product Owners with breaking Epics into detailed user stories and feature specifications in JIRA for the teams to pick up and build (story, acceptance criteria and scenarios).
- Comprehensive collateral and documentation for both internal and external consumption.
- Focus on testing, quality assurance and governance before product is shipped.
The skills you'll need:
- You’ll need proven experience as a business analyst, technical analyst, product owner, or similar role in a software development environment.
- A passion for customers and a problem solving mentality, with proven ability to manage multiple dependencies across several external and internal teams.
- A Technical background with an understanding of the banking regulatory environment.
- To be very organised with a high attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management, amazing communication, conflict management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with a definition of minimum marketable features and minimum viable products.
