Job Title Technical Support Technician (Office-Based) Location: Baynards Green, near BicesterAbout the Role We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Technical Support Technician to join our team at our offices in Baynards Green, near Bicester. This is an office-based role supporting customers and carrying out calibration and testing of equipment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our products and services meet quality and compliance standards while providing friendly, effective technical support. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to customers via phone and email Book in/out equipment and manage job tracking through internal systems Prepare equipment for return to customers (labelling, packaging, documentation) Assist with stock control, parts management, and basic workshop organisation Support quality processes and compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 13485 / ISO 17025, if applicable) Liaise with engineers, sales, and admin teams to resolve customer queries Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy working environment Skills & Experience Essential: Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Basic technical aptitude (electronics, mechanical, or instrumentation experience is a plus) Confident using computers and MS Office/Excel Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Desirable: Previous experience in testing, technical support, or a similar technical role Familiarity with quality systems or calibration standards Experience working in an office/workshop environment What We Offer Friendly, supportive team environment On-the-job training and development Free on-site parking Opportunity to grow technical skills within a specialist field
