We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Technical Support Field Engineer to perform maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. In this role you will install, operate, maintain, upgrade, repair and modify equipment, and analyze and evaluate products and related performance. You will perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to eliminate problems in minimum time, while maintaining effective customer communications, relationships, and onsite training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborating with team members to solve complex problems.
- Proactively identifying and addressing quality issues.
- Preventing potential disruptions within their scope of work.
- Documenting and presenting research, recommendations, and complex information in a clear and accessible manner to both internal and external audiences.
- Providing technical guidance to colleagues.
- Anticipating process and capacity challenges, and developing effective solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Managing multiple components of large projects, balancing time and resources to meet deadlines, and ensuring alignment with quality and cost objectives.
- Embracing guiding principles and behaviours and actively participating in a culture that puts our Patient first.
- Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, agility, accountability, and respect.
Core Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is favourable (e.g., Electronics engineering, etc.).
- Experience with HL7 rules and formats as well as Asure cloud software.
- Capable of handling complex assignments, managing parts of larger projects, and providing technical guidance to peers.
- Proven experience of diagnosing and repairing diagnostic medical equipment.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to effectively contribute to sales activities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK.
- Full UK driving licence.
Location
50% Field Based and 50% Home office. Please note initial training will be carried out in our Guildford office and will be for the first few months. Successful applicants must be able to travel to Guildford for training.
