With a strong brand and outstanding products, we are now looking to increase our commercial view within the e-commerce team. Reporting into the Head of e-commerce we are looking for an experienced Website Trading and Optimisation Manager to join the Leeds based team.
The Role:
We are looking for a commercially driven individual with a passion for numbers and improving all elements of UX and conversion on our website. You will provide support to the Head of Ecommerce, planning trading activity, enhancing user experiences and boosting conversions through website performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage improvements in website performance through CRO and UX.
- Develop and implement trading strategies in line with overall ecommerce strategy and overall business goals.
- Own and enhance website performance conversion metrics, developing and delivering targets at category and product level for CVR and AOV to achieve budget growth plans in these areas.
- Lead the development and execution of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategies across all online sales channels, focusing on improved conversion rates and overall user satisfaction.
- Shape user experiences and craft the development roadmap for all websites, introducing new functionality and continuous UX improvements.
- Work with the product and acquisition teams to ensure website and product data is clean and efficient allowing for the best possible user experience.
- Analyse user behaviour utilising various analytics tools to identify optimisation opportunities and refine website design and functionality.
- Work collaboratively with teams including acquisition, retention, product, brand and production, executing CRO and AOV initiatives that align seamlessly with the E-commerce sales budget.
- Conduct user research and testing, gathering insights to enhance website usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, infusing this knowledge into our digital platforms to ensure they remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Develop clear briefs and designs to support the web developer.
Skills:
You should have:
- Demonstrated experience in ecommerce trading, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), web design, and UX design/principles
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Proficiency in A/B testing tools and methodologies, coupled with a successful track record in CRO implementations
- Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design, with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
- Ideally worked within B2C e-commerce
Main Place of Work:
Hybrid working is available, but you will be mostly office based in Leeds with some minimal travel, including to our manufacturing site in Hull.
