Were looking for a confident and proactive Line Leader to join our fast-paced Production team at Natures Way Foods. \n This is a hands-on Supervisory role with responsibility for leading your team to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting daily performance targets. Youll coach colleagues, monitor KPIs, drive improvements and ensure food safety and compliance standards are met at all times. \n If you thrive in a busy FMCG environment and enjoy motivating others to achieve results, this could be your next step. \n Shift pattern \n Days only: \n Fixed days 7am 7pm. \Typically: \n Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday \n Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday \n Nights only: \n Fixed nights: 7pm 7am. \n You will work 4 days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. \n What you get from us \n \n Salary: £28,888 for days only or £33,014 for nights only \n £1,500 signing bonus which will be paid after successful completion of your 12 weeks probation period \n Night shift allowance - £2,420 \n £3,000 invested in your training from day one \n Free English lessons (if required) \n Employer matched pension up to 5% \n Health cash plan \n Flexible benefits including; Corporate gym discounts, enhanced maternity & paternity policy and many more \n Access to online GP & life assurance \n \n \nResponsibilities\n \nKey Responsibilities\n As a Line Leader, you will: \n \n \n Lead, guide and coordinate Production Operatives and agency colleagues on your line \n \n Ensure all Health & Safety standards are followed, reporting accidents and near misses immediately \n \n Complete start-up checks and manage non-conformances, escalating major issues appropriately \n \n Ensure food safety, GMP and customer standards are met at all times \n \n Take ownership of line KPIs including yield, waste, giveaway and downtime \n \n Monitor Short Interval Control (SIC) hourly and implement corrective actions when required \n \n Ensure accurate and timely completion of food safety and compliance paperwork \n \n Coach and train colleagues to achieve right-first-time quality standards \n \n Manage line resources effectively including labour, materials and equipment \n \n Deliver clear and detailed handovers between shifts \n \n Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities \n \n This is a supervisory role you set the standard and lead by example. \n \nQualifications\n \nWhat Were Looking For\n \n \n Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturing \n \n Supervisory experience or strong demonstrable leading capability \n \n Proven machine operation experience \n \n Strong understanding of KPIs and production targets \n \n Good organisational and timekeeping skills \n \n Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality \n \n Confidence to coach, motivate and manage performance \n \n Fluent spoken and written English \n \n Ideal candidate: \n \n \n Already working as a Line Leader, Senior Operative or aspiring Supervisor \n \n Comfortable managing performance and escalating issues \n \n Data-driven and KPI aware \n \n Strong on food safety and compliance \n \n Calm under pressure \n \n For terms and conditions regarding the signing on bonus, speak to the recruitment team who can provide the company policy. \n Our Company \n Natures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and food-to-go for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe. n Our culture is inclusive, and our people are diverse spanning 39 different languages.
