We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our rapidly growing business in Chichester, West Sussex. Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team of Finance Business Partners across both Commercial and Supply Chain Finance. Working closely as a trusted advisor to the exec team and their leadership teams to support and influence decision making based on strong financial insight.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process leading forecasting, annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning across the business.
- P&L ownership across commercial & supply chain delivering against annual budget.
- Deliver analytical insights and value-added analysis to support decision making.
- Identify opportunities and propose solutions to drive revenue and profitability whilst mitigating risks.
- Facilitate and provide recommendations for new and existing products & ranges, including during concept development stage.
- Influences and challenges the business through engaging and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Championing a relentless continuous improvement culture within the team and amongst stakeholders.
- Lead & develop a team of talented business partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Business partner to the Commercial & Supply Chain leadership team ensuring absolute clarity on complex financial information and that this is communicated accurately & effectively to internal & external stakeholders.
- Leadership of Integrated Business Planning process ensuring absolute clarity on in year performance and outlook whilst ensuring engagement across the business around longer-term planning.
- Provide pro-active support to build robust business plans and identify profit improvement opportunities.
- Analysis & monitoring of key performance indicators and investigating variances to budget, outlook and year on year movements.
