Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of logistics operatives, ensuring all customer orders are dispatched safely and on time and that raw materials are stored correctly and made available for production teams.
- Ensure team members are trained to the required standard and new starters receive a meaningful and effective induction to the business.
- Adhere to Company Health and Safety and Hygiene rules.
- Ensure all customer requirements (internal and external) are met in full wherever possible.
- Liaise and communicate with all areas/departments where necessary.
- Manage holidays and absences to maintain adequate crewing levels.
- Ensure supply of packaging to unitise and production areas.
- Take full logistics area responsibility when on nights or in the absence of the Logistics Department Manager.
- Ensure smooth communication between hauliers and planning/production so that when collection times change production can still achieve 100 % finished goods availability.

- Previous experience supervising a team of logistics operatives or warehouse staff.
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, results driven, and able to inspire others.
- Promotes a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised and able to see the bigger picture.
About You

Shift Pattern
We operate a rotational shift pattern covering 7 to 7 covering days and nights.
You will work a total of 14 days over a 28‑day period.
Typically you would be working as follows: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday
