As a Product Development Assistant, you will play a key role in creating and delivering new products for NPD and EPD projects. Your attention to detail, creative flair and foodie knowledge will help you bring concepts to life and produce consistent, high-quality products that deliver real impact. Using your communication organisational skills, you will work collaboratively to help progress products from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the preparation of ingredients and packaging for samples.
- Prepare high quality samples for internal and external presentations.
- Assist in recipe development and product creation.
- Create and maintain development documentation.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in the gated development process.
- Support the Development Team to deliver projects from concept creation to factory launch.
- Follow all food hygiene, handling, allergen, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- An understanding of the development process from concept to launch (desirable).
- Experience in food product development or a working kitchen (desirable).
- Degree or HND in Food Science or a related discipline (desirable).
- Food hygiene qualification (Level 2 or equivalent) (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Natures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and "food-to-go" for supermarkets, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe.
