Hygiene Operative – Competitive Salary – Days only or Nights only – Chichester
Due to continued growth and high demand for our products, we’re expanding our team and looking for Hygiene Operatives to join us at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility.
This role is part of a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking company that values its people. As a Hygiene Operative you’ll keep our production lines running smoothly by ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for the next shift – helping us deliver the highest‑quality products to our customers.
Shift Pattern
We operate a shift pattern covering days only (7am‑7pm) or nights only (7pm‑7am). You will work a total of 14 days within a 28‑day period. Typically your working pattern will be as follows:
- Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Week 2 – Wednesday & Thursday
Responsibilities
- Clean down all production machinery after each production run in compliance with our food hygiene and factory standards.
- Maintain high hygiene standards around the machine areas to ensure food and operator safety.
- Perform chemical washing of production machinery and surrounding areas.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and carefully.
- Operate and maintain hygiene equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date hygiene records in accordance with company procedures.

- Previous hygiene experience in a factory or production environment.
- Positive attitude.
- Motivated and driven.
- Willing to learn.
