As Head of Operations you will lead the operational departments, including Warehouse, Production, Engineering, HSE, Planning, and Procurement, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of safety and compliance. You will also manage the annual budget and oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring effective reporting and documentation practices.
How You Will Make An Impact
- You will have overall accountability for all operational functions, including Manufacturing, HSE, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Warehouse.
- You will set the site’s annual Operations strategy and ensure its successful delivery.
- You will support continuous improvement initiatives, streamline processes, and enhance performance.
- You will provide effective leadership and development for your team while ensuring compliance with all regulatory policies, including GMP and MHRA.
- You will also manage the annual budget plan for Operations and ensure that all reporting is effective and timely.
What We Are Looking For
- You are a seasoned professional with experience at a senior management level in manufacturing-based industries, bringing a strong track record of success.
- You possess a solid understanding of systems in manufacturing and distribution environments, complemented by a relevant degree.
- Your knowledge of employment legislation and global procurement practices sets you apart.
- You are a self-starter, adept at managing priorities and expectations, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills that enable you to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Your familiarity with GMP is essential for this role and further knowledge and experience of HACCP, project management, and MHRA regulations are highly desirable.
