As a Conservation Account Manager at NatureMetrics, you will leverage your expertise in the conservation and NGO sector to drive account growth and promote the adoption of our cutting-edge biodiversity solutions. Your role will focus on building strong, strategic relationships with our clients, guiding them in the integration of nature data into their conservation and sustainability initiatives. By helping clients make data-driven decisions, you will play a crucial part in advancing their conservation objectives and contributing to global biodiversity targets.

We are looking for a commercially driven, strategic professional with a solid foundation in account management and a deep understanding of the conservation sector. Your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, combined with your knowledge of the sector's unique challenges, will allow you to deliver exceptional value to clients, helping NatureMetrics expand its impact in biodiversity monitoring globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Growth and Project Expansion
    • Maximize Project Growth: Identify and scale up existing conservation projects, while driving new initiatives within our client portfolio. Develop strategies to enhance client retention and increase annual monitoring across accounts.
    • Capture New Opportunities: Leverage your sector expertise to identify and convert business opportunities into long-term partnerships, ensuring NatureMetrics becomes a trusted partner for biodiversity solutions.
    • Demonstrate Value: Showcase the unique value of our biodiversity tools, empowering clients to adopt best practices in biodiversity monitoring and integrate these insights into their conservation strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build Strong Client Relationships: Establish and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with conservation clients, positioning NatureMetrics as a key partner in their biodiversity monitoring initiatives.
    • Foster Client Success: Engage with clients regularly to ensure their conservation and sustainability objectives are met, proactively addressing challenges and identifying new ways to support their goals.
    • Enhance Client Satisfaction and Value: Continuously assess and elevate client satisfaction, using insights to inform service improvements and drive operational enhancements.
    • Upsell and Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities to expand the value of each account by offering relevant additional services, demonstrating the long-term benefits of NatureMetrics' full suite of biodiversity solutions.
  • Account Coordination and Delivery
    • Ensure Seamless Project Execution: Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
    • Maximize Account Potential: Gain a comprehensive understanding of client structures and decision-making processes to unlock additional business opportunities, such as expanding projects to other regions or divisions.
  • Sector Expertise and Advocacy
    • Expand Market Presence: Utilize your network and sector knowledge to broaden our presence within the conservation community, promoting biodiversity monitoring solutions in new regions and across diverse ecosystems.
    • Champion NatureMetrics' Solutions: Act as a spokesperson for our tools, presenting at conferences, webinars, and industry events, and advocating for the adoption of biodiversity monitoring practices across conservation sectors.
Experience: Significant experience in account or project management within the conservation, nature tech, or environmental markets sector. Proven track record of delivering results and effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of the conservation sector, including key challenges, funding dynamics, and biodiversity monitoring practices.
Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in the conservation community.
Strategic Insight: Ability to identify opportunities, think commercially, and turn conservation data into actionable insights for clients.
Effective Communicator: Skilled in presenting technical information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences, both online and in person.
