At Naturally Learning, we're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Outdoor Lead to champion our outdoor provision and bring the magic of learning in nature to life. Based in our beautiful Charlestown Forest, this role is perfect for someone who thrives outdoors in all seasons and has a genuine passion for connecting children with the natural world.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Commitment to working outdoors every day, whatever the weather
- A passion for outdoor learning and child-led exploration
As our Outdoor Lead, you will:
- Lead and develop inspiring outdoor learning experiences within our Charlestown Forest setting
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating a passion for nature and outdoor education every day
- Support and mentor team members in delivering high-quality outdoor practice
- Build positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and visitors
- Help create a joyful, supportive, and collaborative team culture
- Ensure the forest environment remains safe, engaging, and well-organised
- Champion the values and vision of Naturally Learning at all times
- Maintain best practice standards, including keeping your DBS certification up to date
- Show initiative, celebrate excellent practice, and confidently raise concerns when appropriate
- Support continuous improvement through reflective practice and professional development
