Now, we’re looking for an Environmental Clerk of Works who shares that ethos. This isn’t another churn‑and‑burn site role. It’s your chance to:
- Take ownership of your projects and build meaningful, long‑term experience

- Work across some of the most exciting environmental and infrastructure projects in the north of Scotland
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading on‑site environmental audits, inspections, and compliance checks
- Monitoring contractor activities and ensuring adherence to environmental mitigation measures
- Delivering toolbox talks and providing clear, confident guidance on environmental best practice
- Producing accurate site reports, Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), and compliance documentation
- Balancing fieldwork, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Working across a mix of remote landscapes, infrastructure projects, and active construction sites
What we’re looking for:
- 2-6 years’ experience in Environmental Clerk of Works duties or environmental consultancy
- Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of Scottish/UK environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Membership of IEMA, CIWEM, or similar (or working toward it)
- Solid knowledge of environmental mitigation, pollution prevention, and site environmental risks
- Full UK driving licence & access to your own vehicle (4x4/off‑road experience is a bonus)
- Confident communicator with excellent reporting and organisational skills
