Now, we’re looking for an onsite Environmental Clerk of Works who shares that ethos. Take ownership of your projects and build meaningful, long‑term experience Access real training, mentoring, and support toward specialist accreditation and chartership Work across some of the most exciting environmental and infrastructure projects in the north of Scotland Leading on‑site environmental audits, inspections, and compliance checks Monitoring contractor activities and their adherence to environmental mitigation measures Working across a mix of remote landscapes, infrastructure projects, and active construction sites 2+ years’ experience in Environmental consultancy with site work experience ~ Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline ~ Solid understanding of Scottish/UK environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks ~ Solid knowledge of environmental mitigation, pollution prevention, and site environmental risks ~ Full UK driving licence & access to your own vehicle (4x4/off‑road experience is a bonus) ~ 40,000–£50,000 , depending on experience ~ Profit share scheme ~ Paid travel – no more unpaid early starts ~ Investment in your development, training, and progression ~ Hybrid working and flexible hours ~ Generous holiday allowance + pension ~ A genuinely healthy work‑life balance Because you’ll finally get the balance right: meaningful projects, real progression, and a team that values expertise over ego.
