Natural Resources Wales (NRW) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Translator to join our busy Translation Team.
Reporting to the Translation Team Leader, you will join a small team of professional translators and play a key role in shaping how NRW communicates with customers, stakeholders and the wider public through clear, accurate and engaging Welsh.
As Senior Translator, you will help ensure that high-quality Welsh language content is delivered consistently, creatively and to the highest professional standards, within tight timescales. You will play a pivotal role in the team's function to provide expert linguistic advice and support, helping to protect and enhance NRW's reputation while supporting the Welsh Government's ambition of reaching one million Welsh speakers by 2050.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled translator who is passionate about language quality, terminology development and delivering an excellent bilingual service that makes a real difference to the people and communities of Wales.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
