The role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Natural Resources Wales' Estate Planning Team within Land Stewardship and play a direct role in shaping the future of Wales's forests. Supporting the delivery of woodland creation projects across the country, you'll help tackle the climate and nature emergencies while creating lasting environmental, social and economic benefits for generations to come.
As part of a small, supportive and ambitious team, you'll gain hands-on experience across project delivery, contract management, stakeholder engagement and woodland establishment. With flexible and hybrid working, opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and partners across Wales, and the chance to develop valuable technical and professional skills, this role offers an excellent platform to grow your career while making a real difference to Wales's natural environment.
Driving is essential to this role and you must hold a full and current UK driving license. The successful candidate will be required to tow a trailer as part of their duties. Where the necessary towing entitlement is not already held, appropriate training and support will be provided.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
