Position Overview: We are now seeking to strengthen our PMO team with a Project Controller at our Stirling or Glasgow location. The PMO offers a comprehensive range of services across all areas of project management, with a strong focus on project financial management, including project setup, invoicing, Work in Progress (WIP) management, budget oversight, forecasting, process optimisation, and training.

Main Tasks:

  • Completing project setup, maintenance, and closure activities within the ERP system.
  • Supporting the financial control of projects through accurate budget tracking, cost monitoring, forecasting, invoicing, and WIP management.
  • Coordinating and supporting Project Managers with the management of inter-company input (MCPR) from other companies within the Natural Power group.
  • Working closely with the Finance team and Financial Accountant to provide information and respond to queries as required.
  • Supporting Project Managers with client enquiries relating to invoicing, fees, variations, and other financial matters.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant HNC / HND qualification, Accountancy Degree, or equivalent practical experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in project financial management, project controls, or a similar role with significant financial responsibility.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • A flexible and positive approach, to be able to manage tasks concurrently and react effectively within short timeframes.
  • An ability to work as part of a team, and equally to show initiative, ability, and confidence to make decisions independently.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to effectively engage with and manage colleague and client/stakeholder relationships.

This is an 18 month contract role, working 37.5 hours per week.
