As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our contracts team with a Contracts Administrator at our Glasgow or Stirling office.
This role will be responsible for supporting the Contracts Specialist in managing contracts across departments in the Company (including the commercial and contractual aspects of such contracts).
You will be working closely with the Contracts Specialist and the bid team in managing contracts from start to finish. The role may also require liaison with our Bid Development Managers, Heads of Department and our Legal department with respect to contractual and legal input and support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Contracts Manager throughout the contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, extensions and variations.
- Liaise with HODs and BMs/BDMs to clarify technical matters.
- Advise on appropriate contracting approaches and related issues.
- Liaise with the Legal department to clarify legal matters when the Contracts Manager is unavailable.
- Manage ongoing contract variations and end dates.
- Provide administrative support for contract management activities.
- Maintain and update NPS's standard contract templates and filing system.
- Undertake other duties that may reasonably be required.
Duties of the post could vary from time to time as a result of new legislation, changes in technology or policy. In this event, appropriate training will be provided.
This is a PERMANENT FULL-TIME role, working 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 to 17:30. Working hybrid, 3 days Office & 2 from home.
