Natural Power is growing its Grid Advisory team to support our clients in the development, construction and operation of their Renewable and storage assets. The small team comprises of professional and passionate technical experts to deliver on our commitments. We are now seeking to strengthen our team with a Senior Engineer covering the UK and Wales.
Natural Power provides services across the entire asset lifecycle from early-stage development to operations and has a very strong pipeline of projects. The role will require working closely with other teams of experts to achieve our clients’ goals.
The focus is primarily on projects connecting to the GB system. However, Natural Power has a wider territorial footprint across Europe and the USA. As these markets adapt, there will be opportunities to gain wider experience.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Grid connection process, supporting clients and internal teams to progress grid applications.
- Provide technical expertise on grid connections risks in Due Diligence activities.
- Identify and support securing optimal grid connection points for new renewable energy developments across the UK’s electricity distribution and transmission networks.
- Engaging with industry stakeholders like NESO, TNOs, and DNOs, keeping a pulse on regulatory and code changes.
- Support grid connection contracts, technical proposals, and safety protocols for utility-scale projects.
- Work with our construction, consents and advisory teams across a range of Renewable technologies.
This is a Permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
