As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Consenting & Environment team with a Senior Ecologist/Ornithologist.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Ecologist/Ornithologist to join our Onshore Ecology Team. The team is based at various locations in the UK and Ireland, working on an exciting and diverse workload, delivering high-quality support for renewable energy projects at all phases. We are a forward-thinking, collaborative, dynamic, and professional team who encourage individuals to maximise their potential.
This is an opportunity to contribute to renewables projects and work with a wide range of specialists from within Natural Power. The role will primarily involve management of several projects, client and stakeholder liaison, writing reports and EIA chapters, and line management. There will also be some opportunities for fieldwork dependent on specialist survey skills. Opportunities for training and professional development are also provided.
Experience of working on renewable projects is essential, with expertise in a specific area of ecology/ornithology beneficial. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working with office locations available in Stirling/Glasgow/Inverness/Newcastle or Aberystwyth.
