We are looking to recruit a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager in the South East of England, ideally based in the Hertfordshire/Essex Area. This is due to the expansion of our site management and HV services in this location.
Our Team: The Site Management Team sits within the wider Operations & Asset Management team. Our multi-disciplinary team will help clients get the most from their assets and keep them safe, reliable, and compliant. Our team of home-based site managers works closely with our asset managers, clients, service providers, and project stakeholders, primarily delivering field services to effectively manage operational safety, inspections, electrical network operations, maintenance, and emergency response activities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review and critique contractor safe systems of work (SSOW) and ensure compliance with the relevant work management process and site-specific requirements.
- Ensure all personnel engaged with works on site are inducted and competent to undertake the work.
- Development of SSOW for site management activities and completion of appropriate risk assessments.
- Ensure all accidents, incidents and near hits are recorded, reported, correctly documented and follow up actions are managed.
- Develop and manage site planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure timely completion of planned works and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Completion of routine site inspections and completion of associated checklists and reports.
- Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Attendance at project operations and team meetings.
- Maintenance of site documentation, including H&S Plan, Environmental Management Plan, PPM Schedule, Equipment List, O&M documents, and As-Built Drawings.
- Achieve and maintain appointments under the relevant Safety Rules for the location(s) within area of operations.
- Operation and maintenance of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus.
- Management of permit-to-work system in accordance with the Natural Power Safe Application of the relevant SSOW, including wind turbine safety rules (WTSR) and relevant Approved HV Safety Rules.
- Liaison with distribution network operators and transmission licensees regarding site outages and works close to system boundaries.
- Participation in an on-call rota, providing 24-hour support for location(s) within area of operations and to other areas.
- Support the adoption and integration of new sites or equipment, working with other business functions and/or Clients as required.

After SAP to multi-Feed SAP to 33Kv authorisation (12-18 Months Service) earnings can increase on average Β£10,000 due to Overtime and shift allowances.
