As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Consenting & Environment team with a Principal EIA Consultant – Planning and EIA at our Newcastle (Horsley), Aberystwyth, Glasgow, Stirling, Castle Douglas, or Inverness office.

Our Team is led by the Director of Onshore Consenting and Environment, and supported by a number of Technical Directors, Associate Technical Directors, Principals, Seniors, Consultants, and Assistant Consultants. This hierarchy provides both top-down and bottom-up support as well as a clear path for personal growth within Natural Power. We are a collaborative and open team who encourage individuals to maximize their potential and enable them to contribute towards the success of the projects we are working on. Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and consenting advice on projects where required;
  • Provide EIA coordination services for large scale renewable energy projects;
  • Provide Project Direction on renewable energy projects;
  • Ensure governance and quality assurance of projects;
  • Write and review proposals for projects;
  • Contribute to the business development and growth of the business;
  • Manage a number of senior consultants/consultants within the team; and provide mentoring and upskilling of our Team.

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
