Our Operations & Asset Management division brings together asset managers, regional field teams, control centre specialists and in-house technical experts - all working collaboratively to maximise the performance of our clients’ assets.

As we continue to grow, we’re now looking for an experienced Hub Operations Manager to take ownership of the operation, maintenance, and performance of our North Scotland wind farm cluster. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive safety and operational excellence, and play a key role in the future of renewable energy.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Hub Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational delivery of three wind farms within the North Scotland Hub, ensuring safety, reliability, production, and contractual performance are achieved. You will:

  • Oversee all daily operational activities across the wind farm cluster, ensuring optimal performance and seamless site functionality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for NPS Operations, Asset Management teams, and site owners.
  • Lead and manage turbine performance, inspections, maintenance planning and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
  • Coordinate all servicing and repair activities, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all incidents, accidents, and near-misses are accurately reported and investigated.
  • Drive compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and continuously improve standards.
  • Manage operational budgets, monitor costs, and optimise resource allocation to maximise output.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development for Lead Technicians and support training programmes for Service Technicians.
  • Maintain accurate training, compliance, and competency records across the Hub.
  • Support business growth by managing additional sites as the Hub expands.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (onshore wind industry experience preferred; Siemens turbine experience advantageous).
  • Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering.
  • Solid understanding of HV systems, safe systems of work, and Wind Turbine Safety Rules (Version 4).
  • Proven experience managing the operation and maintenance of wind farms, including HV equipment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading an operations or maintenance team.
  • Working knowledge of plant maintenance systems and CDM 2015 regulations.
