Our Operations & Asset Management team manages over 200 renewable energy sites across the UK and Europe. From asset management and field operations to technical expertise and 24/7 monitoring, our in-house Control Centre plays a critical role in keeping renewable assets operating safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

We are now looking for a Control Centre Commercial Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in the commercial and operational success of our Control Centre service contracts.

The Role

As Control Centre Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of all Control Centre service contracts. You’ll lead on reporting, bid management, contract onboarding, and financial forecasting, while supporting the Head of Control Centre as a key member of the management team. This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams including Business Development, Finance, and Operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure all contractual service requirements are identified, recorded, and clearly communicated to the Control Centre team
  • Lead the bid management and contract onboarding processes, ensuring pricing, scope, and contractual accuracy
  • Coordinate all contract requirements including renewals, novations, and expirations
  • Respond proactively to real-time commercial enquiries, both verbally and in writing
  • Provide accurate resource allocation planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Analyse and report on revenue performance and projections to support weekly and monthly financial forecasting
  • Ensure invoicing for additional services is completed accurately and on time
  • Support monthly financial reporting, including invoicing, work in progress (WIP), and debtors
  • Identify and implement improvements to internal systems and processes for project performance reporting
  • Support the wider Control Centre management team, particularly during periods of absence
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support requirements for IFS and new projects
About You

We’re looking for a commercially minded professional with experience in renewable energy operations, project management, or contract management. You’ll ideally have:

  • HND or Degree in a relevant discipline such as Project Management or Engineering
  • Experience in resource management and analysis
  • A background in renewable energy projects, particularly wind
  • Strong project management and planning experience
  • Experience managing service or supplier contracts and agreements
  • Experience of managing bids and commercial proposals
  • Strong financial and commercial reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive, visible, and confident leadership style
