We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Technical team in our innovation led, fast paced food manufacturing business. Monitoring all processes and products to ensure that site procedures are adhered to, you will carry out internal audits while increasing employee understanding of GMP and food safety requirements. Upon completion of audits you will agree corrective actions and timescales.
You will be quality driven with knowledge of QA and environmental procedures. Adaptable and with the ability to work on your own initiative you will fully investigate any customer complaints and provide them with a response. You will also monitor suppliers to confirm compliance against agreed specifications.
Please note that the shift pattern for this role will include a weekend day - flexibility will however be required for covering holiday periods.
- Confident and competent communicator at all levels
- Facilitation and negotiation skills
- HACCP Level 2
- Food Safety Level 3
- HND or Degree qualified in a Science based discipline or similar
- Experience of working within a technical function, emphasis towards customer facing/specifications
