We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to effectively manage and coordinate our production plans throughout the business. The shift pattern for this role will be Thursday to Monday.
- To schedule efficient production plans for both labour and equipment.
- To liaise effectively with purchasing and SOP to ensure that all amendments are dealt with to achieve 100% customer service.
- To ensure that all production schedules which are produced meet Internal Product Specification and Technical guidelines.
- To provide a service to the factory to ensure that all orders and amendments are processed and communicated correctly with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of products where required.
- Handle internal and external queries, ensuring accurate and efficient responses.
- To attend daily meetings to discuss the next day's plans and labour requirements.
- Ensure that our internal systems are kept accurate and up to date.
Experience in production planning, excellent attention to detail, experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial, strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data, experience in working with MRP Systems (M3 would be preferred), confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, and flexible to assist the team with holiday and sickness cover.
