Position

We are looking for an Operative with an FLT Licence. Your duties will include stock control, labelling, pallet wrapping, being a product knowledge expert, working within a team but must have the ability to work on own initiative. You may also be required to direct HGVs on and off the site so effective communication skills are a must. The role also requires loading and unloading produce in a timely manner while adhering to all Health & Safety standards. You will also check and complete all required paperwork. We have both day and night positions available. Please note that all roles will involve one day of weekend work.

Requirements

  • Previous food experience (desirable)
  • Previous Yardman experience (desirable)
  • Good verbal, written English communication skills & numeracy skills
  • FLT licence (must have)
  • Good attention to detail, ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Proven problem solving skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate on the telephone & in person
  • A positive, flexible & professional approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team
