About The Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support in the delivery of our paid‑for public events programme as part of the Visitor Events & Tours team, bringing in vital income to support the aims of the Museum while offering visitors a deeper insight into our collections, galleries, and the world of natural history.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver live events in line with ambitious commercial targets, both maintaining the existing programme and developing new content.
- Operate out‑hours events and manage casual staff.
About You
The ideal candidate will have solid experience within the cultural/public events sector and a strong understanding of how to optimise commercial opportunities and public engagement. With a background in ticketed experiences, you will have a keen initiative for enhancing and upgrading offers and ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard. To thrive in this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a flair for curating unique experiences, with the ability to build strong partnerships.

Hybrid working

We also recognise the benefits and flexibility that hybrid working brings. We operate a hybrid working model that requires regular, weekly attendance for this role, with the precise pattern of days on site and worked from home to be agreed with your manager.
