Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable HR Business Partner to join our team. This pivotal role covers the full employee lifecycle and HR operations, while also supporting day-to-day office operations and providing strategic input to the leadership team.
As a trusted advisor to managers, you’ll guide recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and help foster a positive workplace culture. You’ll also ensure we meet compliance standards, contribute to health and safety practices, and help develop and support our people strategy as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Support employee relations and performance management
- Maintain HR systems and ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies
- Liaise with payroll to ensure accurate processing
- Maintain and update employee records and company policies
- Advise on and promote best practices in health and safety
Management & Leadership Support
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and team leads
- Coach and support line managers on handling HR matters
- Lead performance review processes and implement development plans
- Act as a culture champion, supporting team engagement and wellbeing initiatives
Strategic Involvement
- Contribute to workforce planning and hiring strategies
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align HR practices with business goals
- Drive culture-building projects and assist with internal communications
Founders’ Support
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the founders
- Manage occasional projects, scheduling, and general business admin
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in HR operations with a generalist or business partner background
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Understanding of health and safety principles in the workplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, confidential, and professional approach to handling sensitive matters
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, proactive, and digitally literate
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
