  • Description
  • Purpose of the Role

Natterbox is a Salesforce-native AI communications and contact centre platform.

We're used by some of the fastest-growing and innovative businesses globally, including Revolut, N26, Tide, and Legal & General, to power their customer conversations with Voice AI, intelligent routing, and real-time analytics, all natively inside Salesforce.

We're looking for a Global Marketing Director to lead the full marketing function and own marketing's commercial contribution to Natterbox's growth.

This is the most senior marketing role in the business, reporting directly to the CRO.

This is not a role for someone who wants to set the strategy and hand it off.

It's for a player-coach, someone who can present pipeline performance to the CRO on Monday and write a campaign brief on Tuesday.

If that's how you operate, and you want direct access to the CRO and genuine ownership of a function that matters to revenue, this is the role.

  • Core Accountabilities
  • Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Budget
  • You'll own the demand generation strategy across inbound, outbound, paid search, events, content, and webinars, with SQL and pipeline targets aligned to the revenue plan.
  • You'll define and maintain the ICP and segment-level targeting strategy, keeping programmes focused on the accounts most likely to convert across Natterbox's core verticals.
  • You'll manage the marketing budget end-to-end: allocating it across channels, tracking spend, and justifying every pound against pipeline outcomes in your quarterly report to the CRO.
  • You'll hold accountability for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline metrics, and present them clearly to leadership.
  • GTM Strategy, Product Marketing, and Sales Enablement
  • You'll own Natterbox's GTM strategy, positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and vertical-specific value propositions, and keep it current as the product and market evolve.
  • You'll own the website as a commercial and conversion asset, messaging, structure, content, and SEO direction, working with agencies and the team to keep it performing.
  • You'll be the primary marketing counterpart to the CRO, with daily alignment on pipeline, sales priorities, territory coverage, and revenue stage needs.
  • You'll drive the annual marketing planning process, translating commercial targets into quarterly plans with defined budgets, channels, and measurable outcomes.
  • Brand, Content, Customer Marketing, and Events
  • You'll own the Natterbox brand globally, visual identity, tone of voice, and consistency across every customer and prospect touchpoint, from the website to event activations.
  • You'll own the content strategy: thought leadership, blog, case studies, video, webinars, and executive profiling, ensuring content serves both pipeline and credibility goals.
  • You'll lead the customer marketing strategy with the Customer Marketing Manager, lifecycle communications, advocacy and reference programmes, and customer-facing events designed to support retention, expansion, and public credibility.
  • You'll lead Natterbox's events programme, including flagship third-party events and owned Natterbox events, from strategy through to briefing, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • You'll manage agency relationships across demand gen, PR, events, SEO, and content, holding partners to clearly defined SOW deliverables and measurable outcomes.
  • You'll own internal communications and cross-functional orchestration on product launches, platform updates, and company-wide marketing moments, ensuring Product, CS, Sales, and the wider business are aligned and briefed.
  • Marketing Operations, Technology, and PLG
  • You'll hold accountability for Salesforce attribution hygiene: opportunities correctly campaign-attributed so the revenue team has an accurate picture of marketing's contribution.
  • You'll define the marketing data governance approach and work with Revenue Operations to fix structural data issues that currently undermine pipeline measurement.
  • You'll lead Natterbox's PLG motion, using the company's own Voice AI platform as a live proof-of-concept and growth channel, developing the strategy and working with Product and SE team to execute it.
  • You'll identify and implement improvements to automation, lead scoring, and reporting to increase the function's efficiency and measurement confidence over time.

Requirements

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years in a B2B Saa S or technology marketing function at a leadership level, with direct accountability for pipeline, budget, and revenue contribution, not just brand or comms delivery.
  • End-to-end ownership of demand generation: strategy, channel mix, budget allocation, and SQL targets, with results backed by data.
  • Product marketing experience, turning new features and capabilities into positioning, messaging, and launch programmes that land with customers and prospects.
  • Managed a marketing budget with commercial discipline: tracking spend, reporting on ROI, and making trade-off decisions when priorities shift.
  • Managed and developed a small team: set direction, reviewed execution, and held people accountable.
  • Experience managing agencies across SEO, paid search, PR, and events simultaneously.

What you'll bring

  • Commercial acumen: you connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes and communicate that clearly to the CRO without being prompted.
  • Player-coach mindset: you can set strategy and execute. You don't consider hands-on work beneath the role, you consider it part of it.
  • Salesforce literacy: you understand campaign attribution, opportunity management, and Contact Roles, and you can tell when the data is wrong and why.
  • Product marketing instinct: you can read a product update and know immediately how to position it, who it's for, and what to say.
  • Content and editorial judgement: you know what good looks like across copy, case studies, thought leadership, and campaigns, and you're able to shape it, not just approve it.
  • Confidence with marketing technology: you can evaluate, configure, and optimise tools without needing someone else to run the stack for you.
  • Analytical rigour: you interrogate performance data, draw conclusions, and act, you don't wait for a report to land in your inbox.
  • Stakeholder influence: you build credibility quickly with commercial leadership and know how to move things forward without formal authority.
  • Agility: you're comfortable with strategy shifting under your feet. You can reset priorities quickly, bring the team with you, and keep momentum without losing direction.
  • Prioritisation: you can say no to good ideas in order to say yes to great ones. You protect the team's focus without shutting down creative thinking.
  • Pace with standards: you move things forward at speed internally, but you hold a high bar on anything that goes externally, because everything that leaves the team reflects on Natterbox.

Desirable

  • Hands-on familiarity with Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Salesforce Flows or equivalent automation tooling.
  • Experience with ABM platforms, intent data tools, or advanced lead scoring models.
  • Experience designing or scaling a PLG motion in a B2B context.
  • Familiarity with the CCaa S, Voice AI, or contact centre technology landscape.
  • You've worked in or alongside financial services, fintech, contact centre, UCaa S, or adjacent B2B technology, or can demonstrate a track record of getting up to speed fast in technical, regulated markets.
  • Operated in a Salesforce-native environment, with a working understanding of campaign attribution, CRM data quality, and marketing measurement, including what happens when they break.

Benefits

We offer a range of benefits to all our employees.

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance related bonus
  • Private medical insurance
  • 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days after 2 years (plus bank holidays).
