At Natta Building Company, we are proud to be a leading Independent Connection Provider (ICP), delivering complex electrical connections across the UK — from HV/LV networks and substations to major commercial and infrastructure projects. We are looking for an experienced ICP Project Manager to take full ownership of projects, from design through to commissioning and client handover, while leading on-site teams and ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee on-site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
- Lead, manage, and motivate on-site teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Plan, allocate, and control resources, materials, and equipment to meet project programmes.
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and communicate method statements to the workforce.
- Coordinate with other trades, manage materials, and report on project progress.
- Inspect works, identify non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all permits, registers, and PPE requirements are in place and adhered to.
- Promote health and safety awareness and ensure safe work practices on-site.
- Proactively adapt plans to changing circumstances and notify the Project Manager of major impacts.
- Assess work activities to ensure tasks are completed in the correct sequence and deadlines are met.
- Report deviations, improvements, or additional requirements to the Project Manager.
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage multiple HV/LV connection projects nationwide.
- Lead planning, design coordination, procurement, and construction phases.
- Supervise or carry out groundworks, trenching, backfilling, and installation of infrastructure, ducts, and services as authorised.
- Interface with DNOs/IDNOs to ensure full compliance with technical and safety standards.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, risk, and change control processes.
- Maintain clear client communication and provide regular progress updates.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing ICP or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, substations, and cable networks.
- Skilled in project controls, including budgeting, risk management, and scheduling.
- Confident communicator able to liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Commercially aware with experience in contract management.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide.
Desirable
- PRINCE2, APM, or PMP qualification.
- Experience with EV infrastructure or new electrical connections.
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).
- Background in civil or utility works.
